SOME KIND OF LOVE – Television Premiere

SOME KIND OF LOVE will premiere on Global Television on Sat. Aug. 29 at 9pm local time in each Global market across Canada, except for Global Regina, Global Saskatoon, CKND Winnipeg and CJBN Kenora where it will air at 8pm.

Some Kind of Love is a documentary about two vastly different siblings who are anything but ideal housemates.

The film is produced by Trish Dolman and Sumner Burstyn, co-producer is Haydn Wazelle, edited by Peter Roeck and music composed by John Korsrud.

Some Kind of Love has screened at the Vancouver International Film Festival, Palm Springs International Film Festival, Sydney Film Festival, NZ Film Festival and Doc Aviv.

This is how VIFF describes Some Kind of Love: “The enthralling result is a film about family relations, fractured sibling love, gender, art, science, diaspora and legacy—and the uncomfortable role of the filmmaker as voyeur, confidant, family.”

Palm Springs International Film Festival & ShortFest says: “What might have been a depressing look at two older people past their prime, Some Kind Of Love is instead the best kind of movie, a quest for truth and understanding that is keenly aware of the fragile and beautiful world we inhabit just outside the frame.”
