Trish Williams
Trish most recently produced the CTV documentary Reservation Soldiers by Writer/Director Lisa Jackson. In 2005, she joined the team at Screen Siren Pictures as Development Manager, overseeing their slate of features, documentaries and dramas. Previously, she wrote and produced Secrets: A Parent’s Guide to the Teenage Sexual Revolution in association with CBC’s The Passionate Eye. Premiering to a record viewing audience on The Passionate Eye in March of 2005, Secrets was nominated for 7 Leo awards.
For the past 8 years in the film and television industry, Trish has been a TV host, producer, writer, director, researcher and production coordinator. She has produced and developed documentaries for CTV, CBC, Knowledge Network, APTN, SCN, Discovery Health and The Documentary Channel. Just to keep things interesting, Trish co-hosted the 2006 season of CBC TV’s late-night arts show Zed Candid, where she got to watch films and argue with people, two of her favorite things. Trish is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in the Joint Program in Communication and Culture at Ryerson/York.
